2008 San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival
It's that time of year again. San Francisco's largest dance event has arrived, and once again Shabnam made the cut. Congratulations cutie! Getting in at all is pretty tough. Getting in as an individual performer is tougher. Getting in consecutive years is insane.
One of the biggest benefits of appearing is the photoshoot with top San Francisco-based photographer RJ Muna. This year's photo (below) is right up there with last year's. There's a lot more info at the official site, and if you're in the area for the weekend two performances on June 14th and 15th you can get tickets here.

Hey Maurice,
Great blog, great content. I've been following it for over 4 years now, and wish you ongoing continued success.
I want to discuss an issue with you (privately), is their a way I can get in touch with you?
Alternatively, you can e-mail me anytime: peter at peterleeds.com
Thanks for visiting for so long. I just sent my email to the address at your site.
I caught it for the first time last summer (SF EDF's 28th year) and it was AMAZING. The dance ensembles I saw were Polish, Filipino, Turkish, Chinese, Spanish, African, Irish, Indian, and Hawaiian. If the energy and talent, the gorgeous costumes, and fierce music doesn't get your booty shaking too.
